Asmaa Khoury

Egyptian artist born in Cairo in 1988 . She received a BA (Very Good with Honors) from the Faculty of Applied Arts in 2011.

She worked as a cover designer for Sabah Al-Kheir weekly magazine.

She was selected as a jury member of Cairo Salon.

She has participated in a number of solo exhibitions, including “On the way" at Gezira Art Centre in 2014, "Sofitel Hotel” in 2014, “Woman on the throne” at Cordoba Gallery 2017, “Oriental Charm” at Duroub gallery 2018. Her group exhibitions have included “Black and white Salon” at Gezira Art Centre and Bibliotheca Alexandrine for three consecutive edition in 2010, 2013 & 2017 along with "Portrait", “Nahr Al-Hayah”& “Africa” at Ahmed Shawhi Museum in 2017, 2018 & 2019, “Al Mahrousa” at Mahmoud Moktar Museum in 2017, “Different melodies” at Ubuntu gallery 2019, group exhibition at Uptown Cairo by Safarkhan art gallery in 2020 and others. She was the guest of honor at three group exhibitions at Cairo Opera House and Al-Ahram Art gallery.

The Egyptian Modern Art museum purchased one of her oil paintings in 2017.

She deals with a lot of art collectors from Egypt, England, Germany, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Tunisia and others.

Asmaa participated in various contests, namely UNESCO’s Art Contest to illustrate the importance of the Nile in 2005 and in “Creative Awards” of the British Council in 2006. She also received the Fatma Rifaat Award in 2012 and 2013 and the Youth Salon Award in 2010 and 2011.

In addition to the Acquisition Award from CIB Bank and the honorary painting for the Summer Scholarship Competition at Florence Academy of Arts in 2016.
