Ahmed Yousef (1900 - 1976), He studied art principles and received a scholarship to England and Italy in 1924, specializing in painting, mosaic, and stained glass. After earning a fine arts diploma, he returned to Egypt as a teacher, later becoming director of the School of Applied Arts (until 1954) and General Director of Fine Arts (1955–1961). He co-authored History of Decorative Styles and Fine Arts and translated Shadows of Art. His style is characterized by realism with brilliant colors.
